Erdogan: Turkey will hand over Syrian territory to its real owners
ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan pledged that his country would continue its efforts to make Syria safe again and hand over all its territory "to its true owners."
"We do not see support for our country's efforts to make Syrian territory safe again," Erdogan said in a speech at the awards ceremony at the “Turkish Innovation Week” in Istanbul, referring to the Syrian file.
"Those who turned Syria into a quagmire, and then began to complain about it, are trying to encircle Turkey's borders through a terrorist belt," Erdogan said.
The Turkish president stressed that his country will not allow any threat against it in Syria, saying: "We will continue our struggle until we hand over all Syrian territory, including Manbij and the area of East Euphrates, to their true owners."
The Turkish president reiterated his country's determination to continue its military activities in Syria to eliminate the threats emanating from it to the Turkish security, especially from the rest of Aleppo, as well as the east of the Euphrates, he also continues to adhere to positions against the authorities of the country led by President Bashar al-Assad, and is considered an illegal regime that committed war crimes against its citizens.
