ARK News: The European Representation of the Kurdish National Council in Syria held its regular meeting in the German city of Bochum on 28/4/2019, at the beginning a minute of silence was held for the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurds and Kurdistan and the martyrs of the Syrian revolution, and then many political and organizational topics were discussed and ways to activate and develop the role of the National Council in Europe to serve the just issue of our Kurdish people, and a number of decisions took that would improve its performance and activate its role and urge the meeting on the need to communicate with the cultural and social elites, and the participants appreciated the efforts of social and cultural figures and their role in the success of the revival of national events, especially Nawroz Day and called for the communication with the establishment of more political and public activities to serve the issue of our Kurdish people and then discussed the political situation and estimated the meetings of the Kurdish National Council with influential international actors in the Syrian arena, as well as on the safe area to be established in the east of the Euphrates by the international concerned parties, which to be under international auspices to achieve security and stability, and the formation of a unified administration and a joint security force and Roj Peshmerga has promoted an active role in this force.

The meeting also stopped on the violations committed by the armed groups against our Kurdish people in Afrin from abduction, arbitrary arrests, demographic change, and the demand of the international community to intervene to prevent these violations and to bring them out and ensure the return of its sons and hand over its administration to the people of Afrin, and provide them with international protection.

The meeting also condemned these armed groups of preventing our Kurdish people from celebrating Nawroz National Day in Afrin, which reflects the hatred of these groups for Kurds and their cultural and national heritage.
