Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria celebrates the Kurdish Press Day in Girke Lake
ARK News: The Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria held on Monday 22/4/2019 in the town of Girke Lake a symposium on the occasion of the Kurdish Press Day and the 121th anniversary of the publication of the first Kurdish newspaper, which was attended by members of the local council of it and with the presence of a group of intellectuals and writers and interested in the press and media.
The lecture was given by Zahra Ahmed Qasim, and she talked about the role of the media and the history of the Kurdish press, starting with the issuance of the first Kurdish newspaper by Prince Miqdad Midhat Badir Khan in the city of Cairo.
Mr. Abdul Karim Mohammed Abu Luqman, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, also highlighted the beginning of the first newspaper in the name of Kurdistan and the experiences of journalists in Kurdistan Syria.
