What did the PYD do with the Kurdish media men in Kurdistan Syria - 24 cases as a model

ARK News: Since the Syrian regime handed over areas of Kurdistan of Syria to the Democratic Union Party in the summer of 2012, the latter tried in various ways closing mouths and prevent the media to hide the daily practices against the Kurds in Syria.

The PYD carried out the assassinations, kidnappings, beatings, seizures, and multiple violations against the Kurdish media and their families, at a time when there are journalists belonging to the Syrian regime and working in the media in Qamishlo and Hasaka.

The following are documented 42 cases that have done by the PYD:

1-On 19/11/2012 the assassination of Hozan Abdul Halim Abu Zaid in Sri Kaniye
2-On 18/04/2014 the abduction of the journalist Peshawa Bahlawi, correspondent of Rudaw channel and his exile to Kurdistan region of Iraq
3-On 18/04/2014 the abduction Rodi Ibrahim, correspondent of the Orient channel and his exile to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

4-On 26/12/2015 Kidnapping of Faridon Qijo the correspondent of Yekiti Media in Amouda
5- On 22/12/2015 abduction of the editor of Radio Haivi FM Amir Murad in Qamishlo

6-On 4/1/2016 Yekiti Media correspondent Jangin Aliko is beaten in the city of Derbasiya.

7. On 16/3/2016 Asayish of the PYD arrested "Masoud Isa Hamdi," a reporter for the website of Yekiti Media from his home in the village of Khazna Al Kabira

8-On 11/4/2016 Yekiti Media correspondent Roni Mohammed Bagji is being kidnapped and beaten by supporters of the Democratic Union Party in Derik city.

9 - On 27/4/2016 masked men kidnapped the Executive Director of Radio Arta F.M Mohammed Safqan for an hour after being threatened with death and then burnt the radio building with all its contents in Amouda city.

10 - On May 21, 2016, masked men abducted the radio reporter (FM) and the supervisor of the website of the magazine "Hussein Mahmoud Al-Sino" in the city of Derbasiya.

11- 15- On 15/8/2016 Asayish of the PUD stopped each of Qadir Agid, the Editor-in-Chief of Buyer -Dilovan Chato, correspondent of Kurdistan TV 24-Hozan Khisho, Kurdistan24 Satellite Photographer, Rawan Agid, the photographer of Adar Press site and (One F.M) broadcasting, and Jody Chiya, a photographer for Walat FM radio station, while covering the ceremony of the funeral of a Peshmerga fighter in the town of Qamishlo.

16-On 15/8/2016 Asayish of the PYD stopped the editor of "Shar" magazine, Piroz Birik, in solitary confinement and confiscated his press equipment while he was trying to photograph a gathering of civilians in front of the Asayish of the PYD Center in Derik, demanding the release of their sons.

17. On 15/8/2016 Asayish of the PYD, arrested the correspondent of Yekiti Media, "Alan Salim Ahmed" in the city of Qamishlo

18- On 16/8/2016 Asayish of the PYD arrested "Barzan Sheikhmous" journalist at Media website

19-On 18/9/2016 the PYD militants arrested ARK correspondent Ali Ismail in Derik and confiscate his equipment

20- On 22/09/2016 Rangin Sharo Rudaw's correspondent was prevented from entering Kurdistan of Syria and deported to the Kurdistan region

21-On 22/11/2016, the correspondent of Walat radio station (FM) Sardar Dari kidnapped by masked followers of the PYD in his place which located in the "Mufti" neighborhood in the city of Hasaka, before he was found on 23/11/2016 thrown near the village of Al-Khama’el, 20 km south of the city, after being beaten

22 – On 13/05/2017 the abduction of Barzan Hussein - correspondent of ARK channel in Girke Lake

23- On 22/10/2018 the abduction of Ahmed Sofi - correspondent of ARK in Derik

24 - The arrest of Azad Jamakori, the correspondent of Rudaw three times by Asayish of the PYD in Derik city and Girke Lake-town in 2015
