The drivers of vehicles in Kurdistan Syria are confused between decisions of the (PYD and Assad regime)

ARK News: The so-called "management institutions of the PYD" in the cities of Kurdistan of Syria, began forcing all owners of private and public vehicles to license their cars in return for the payment of large sums of money, as financial fees for licensing.

Taxi drivers complain that "Traffic" management of the PYD "gave them a specific time to put special vehicle’s number or they will pay a tax of 15,000 SYP It is worth mentioning that they have already paid a security fee of 10,000 SYP in addition to the license fee of 30,000, knowing that they pay an annual tax to the regime of 50,000 SYP.

According to local sources in Qamishlo city in Kurdistan of Syria that "Asayish forces” and the so-called" Traffic Police "at the PYD" management started forcing all drivers and owners of private and public vehicles to review their headquarters immediately to license their cars under the pretext of "seizure and violation."

The sources added that "the new license will require the owners of cars to change their government car plates with new plates of the manufacture of the PYD", which bears the names of the cities of Kurdistan Syria
Earlier, the PYD had imposed a fee on vehicles ranging in value from 40 to 80 thousand Syrian pounds depending on the size of the car.

The new decision which issued by the PYD "is a new step in many steps taken by this" administration "and its rejection by the population, including the imposition of new curricula, the closure of government schools, the confiscation of migrant property and put their hands on the health sector.

These actions are confusing people and car owners in Kurdistan Syria because they are being subjected to double violations in both administrations of the PYD and Assad regime because they are exploited by both parties during the purchase and sale of a vehicle during the renewal of the annual and when it offered for sale it reduces the value of the car purchase, and each of the two authorities impose themselves with the power of their weapons.

It is noteworthy that the Assad regime controls the following areas in the city of Qamishlo which are (Security Square, the airport, the southern regions, the National Hospital, Zori roundabout, Tay neighborhood, and even Kharab Askar and Wahhabi ), i.e., the three roads, the south, the security square, and the airport.
