Flood Kills Two Civilians in Kurdistan of Syria

ARK News: A woman and a child were killed on Saturday due to flash floods in the province of Hasaka, northeastern Syria, reports said.

According to local reports, the incident occurred in the village of Khirba Amo, in Qamishlo, where a number of houses were submerged by water as well.

The heavy rainfalls, apart from causing destructions to many agricultural fields, they also resulted in the displacement of a great number of people from the area.

The continuous rainfalls in the region have caused great damages to villages and bridges in many areas in the Middle East.
