Girke Lake .. A torrent of crude oil roaming the streets of the town
ARK News: Activists posted on social networking sites that a stream of crude oil roams the streets and alleys of the town of Girke Lake as a result of a break in the oil pipes in the North Annex.
A resident of the town of Girke Lake said on Friday, 29.3.2019, to the site of Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria that a damage hit an oil pipeline that runs along the North Annex in Girke Lake causing the leak of crude oil from it along a street that extends across the town in Girke Lake-town and then it runs in the streets.
The source added that this poses a danger to the houses and residential buildings in the town and crude oil has also very negative effects, including nuclear radiation and hasty odors that directly affect the health and safety of the people.
The activists expressed their fears that because the results would be a disaster if it is not remedied.
