Syrian Delegation Concludes Participation in 81st UN General Assembly
ARK News.. Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani announced the conclusion of the Syrian delegation’s participation, led by President Ahmed al-Sharaa, in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Al-Shibani said the Syrian delegation, headed by President Ahmed al-Sharaa, had concluded its participation in the UN General Assembly session, marking Syria’s second appearance at the UN since the liberation of Syria and the restoration of its regional and international standing.
He said Syria took to the UN platform with President Ahmed al-Sharaa representing the country and presented a record of domestic and foreign achievements during the session.
Al-Shibani added that Syria had taken practical steps toward implementing its comprehensive vision on key national, regional and international issues, while strengthening its openness to the international community and its organisations.
He said Syria was moving from presenting visions and commitments to translating them into concrete action on the ground.
