President Barzani Congratulates Yezidis on the Occasion of the Summer Forty Festival

President Masoud Barzani on Sunday, August 2, 2026, extended his congratulations to the Yezidi community in Kurdistan and around the world on the occasion of the Summer Forty Festival, known in Kurdish as “Çileyê Havînê."
In a congratulatory message, President Barzani conveyed his warmest greetings to the Yezidi religious and spiritual leaders, as well as to all Yezidis in Kurdistan and across the world, wishing them a joyful celebration in an atmosphere of peace, security, and prosperity.
He concluded his message by saying:
"Happy holiday to you all, and may you always enjoy happiness, peace, and good health."
