The Syrian Kurdish Civil Powers Gathering elects its president
ARK News: General Secretariat of the Syrian Kurdish Civil Powers Gathering held its regular meeting in Hawler the capital of Kurdistan Region and was elected its president.
The General Secretariat of the Syrian Kurdish Civil Powers Gathering met last Wednesday in Hawler city, its first meeting after its founding conference which was held a few days ago and elected Zohrab Aziz as its president, Maryam Sheikho as vice president and Jivan Haji Youssef, an official spokesman for the Gathering.
On the 26th of January, the Gathering held its founding conference in Hawler attended by about thirty civil Kurdish Organizations in Syria, which already had invited 50 Organizations to attend the conference which works within the regions of Kurdistan Syria and abroad and in neighbouring countries and other countries.
