ARK News: Turkish Defense Minister Khalosi Akar and his Russian counterpart Sergey Schweigo urged Wednesday the situation in Syrian Idlib, according to a Turkish army statement posted on its Twitter page.

The statement said that the two ministers also discussed issues related to security in the region, in the light of the agreements reached between Moscow and Ankara in the Russian city of Sochi.

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi on September 18 resulted in the agreement of the parties to establish a demilitarized zone in Idlib province, and it will be monitored by both the Turkish army patrols and units of the Russian military police.
