Lindsey Graham: I Will Introduce the “Kurdish Rescue Act” to the U.S. Senate
ARK News.. A U.S. senator announced that he will introduce legislation this week aimed at imposing “severe sanctions” on any government or group involved in hostile actions against the Kurds, under a proposal titled the “Kurdish Rescue Act.”
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham said in a statement posted on X: “I will introduce legislation this week that imposes severe sanctions on any government or group that engages in hostile actions against the Kurds.”
Graham said he has named the bill the “Kurdish Rescue Act,” expressing confidence that it will receive strong bipartisan support, stressing that the legislation “must have teeth to be effective.”
