The KNC delegation was headed by Mohammad Ismail, president of the Kurdish National Council. The meeting featured extensive discussions on the latest developments in the Syrian political landscape in general and the Kurdish issue in particular, in addition to an analytical review of the most significant current regional developments.

Participants focused on the sensitivity of the current phase and stressed the importance of protecting the Kurdish people in Syria amid the rapid changes and complexities unfolding across the region. They also emphasized the need to defend the legitimate national rights of the Kurdish people in Syria and to uphold the principles and foundations for which the Kurdish political movement has long struggled.

The participants further expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the pivotal role and unwavering support provided by the leadership of the Kurdistan Region, represented by President Masoud Barzani and President Nechirvan Barzani.

They affirmed that this support—across its diplomatic, political, moral, economic, and humanitarian dimensions—has played a significant role in assisting Syrian Kurds in achieving stability and advancing their aspirations for constitutional rights while ensuring their participation as an essential and effective partner in building the future of Syria after decades of marginalization and exclusion.
