Masoud Barzani Congratulates on Newroz: Hopes for Peace Across the Region

ARK News.. Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani extended his congratulations on the occasion of Newroz and the Kurdish New Year 2726, expressing hope that this year’s celebration will mark a step toward greater unity and brotherhood among political powers.

In his message, Barzani conveyed his greetings to the families of martyrs, the Peshmerga forces, and all people of Kurdistan at home and abroad. He also extended congratulations to all peoples around the world who celebrate Newroz as part of their cultural and historical heritage.

He described Newroz as a symbol of renewal, hope, and victory over oppression, deeply rooted in the history of the Kurdish people as a reflection of perseverance and the pursuit of freedom and peace.
