Second US Military Convoy Withdraws from Qasrek Base in Hasaka Countryside
ARK News.. Media sources reported that a second US military convoy began withdrawing on Monday, February 23, 2026, from Qasrek base in the countryside of Hasaka.
According to Kurdistan24, the full withdrawal of US forces from the base is expected to take several days to complete. Amid these field developments, dozens of US military vehicles departing from Qasrek base reportedly moved through the city of Qamishlo in route to the Iraqi border.
The source added that the convoy includes a large number of armored vehicles and trucks loaded with logistical and military equipment. It was accompanied by AH-64 Apache helicopters providing aerial protection and surveillance until reaching the Iraqi border.
