Omed Khoshnaw Announces Launch of New 16-Truck Humanitarian Convoy to Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News.. Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw announced today the departure of a new humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 16 trucks loaded with relief supplies and essential needs, heading to areas of Western Kurdistan. The convoy is part of the ongoing relief campaign launched by the capital of the Kurdistan Region to support those affected by recent developments.
During a press conference addressing the latest updates on the “Aid Campaign,” Khoshnaw praised the pivotal role of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, describing it as a strategic partner and the main coordinating body since the very first moments of the initiative.
The Governor explained that the support was not limited to in-kind assistance, but also included a cash contribution of 50 million Iraqi dinars provided by the Chamber and handed over to the relevant teams to ensure delivery and cover urgent needs of citizens in Rojava.
In a related context, Khoshnaw revealed the on-ground presence of Barzani Charity Foundation teams inside Syrian Kurdistan, confirming that the foundation’s staff are operating at full capacity to secure distribution and provide urgent relief.
Khoshnaw stressed that “Erbil will continue to support and stand by its brothers in Syrian Kurdistan, and the campaign will not stop until all its humanitarian objectives are achieved.”
