Saudi Arabia Finalizing Several Investment Deals in Syria
ARK News.. Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jad’an confirmed that the international community now stands with Syria and that several major investment projects are currently in their final stages of preparation.
According to Reuters, Al-Jad’an said it is the international community’s duty to support Syria after decades of isolation.
“We stand with Syria,” he told reporters, “and we believe they are serious and sincere in their efforts to do what is right for their people.”
The minister noted that the lifting of sanctions by the United States and the European Union has paved the way for greater participation from the private sector.
“Many investments are now moving in that direction,” al-Jad’an added, “and I know several of them are already being finalized.”
