Russia and Iran welcome the handover of the PYD Manbij city the Syrian regime
ARK News: The official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry welcomed the return of Manbij to the Syrian regime, describing it as a positive step in the right way.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said that raising the flag of the Syrian regime in the skies of Manbij is an important step in order to consolidate the sovereignty of the Syrian regime throughout the country.
Qasimi stressed the need to preserve the unity of Syrian territory, adding that this entry is a positive step to reach a solution to the Syrian crisis.
The Iranian welcome comes shortly after Russia welcomed by the official spokesman of the Kremlin, who expressed his country's happiness in the return of the city of Manbij to the bosom of the Syrian regime.
