Erdogan: Turkey is not urgent to implement the military operation in the east of the Euphrates
ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that Ankara will not have anything to do in Manbij once the PYD militants leave the area, hours after the announcement of the Syrian regime army that entered the city.
Erdogan told reporters in Istanbul: Under the current situation, we still support the unity of Syrian soil, these areas belong to Syria and as soon as the PYD fighters leave, we will have nothing left to do there, and Erdogan hinted that Turkey is not urgent to carry out the operation.
Erdogan stressed: the case is not only related to Manbij, but we also seek to eliminate all armed groups in the region, and our main goal is to give the PYD militants required lesson.
