Trump: We discussed with Erdogan the "slow" and "coordinated" withdrawal from Syria
ARK News: US President Donald Trump has revealed That he discussed with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan several topics during a telephone call, on Sunday, including the question of the withdrawal of his forces "slow and coordinated" from Syria.
"I made a long and productive conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan," Trump said in a tweet on Twitter.
He continued explaining that "We have discussed the fight against Da'esh organization, our joint involvement in Syria and the slow and very coordinated withdrawal of US forces from the region," adding that US forces would return home after several years.
Trump pointed out that he also discussed with the Turkish president the expansion of trade between the two countries considerably.
In turn, Erdogan said through (Twitter): "We have had a productive phone call with US President Donald Trump in which we agreed to strengthen coordination between our two countries on a number of issues from trade relations to developments in Syria," and added "I hope that it will be good for both our countries and our region."
