Car Bomb Explosion in Manbij, Eastern Aleppo Countryside

ARK News.. A Syrian civilian organization reported a car bomb explosion in the city of Manbij, located in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. The incident marks the third such explosion in less than a month.

The Syrian Civil Defense, known as the "White Helmets," stated that a car bomb detonated on the evening of Friday, January 17, 2025, on al-Rabita Street in Manbij.

The organization confirmed that no civilian casualties were reported, and the fire caused by the explosion was promptly extinguished.

The first explosion occurred on December 24, 2024, on Recruitment Street in the city center of Manbij, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to eight others. It also caused fires and damage to nearby vehicles and houses.

The second explosion took place on December 27, 2024, near the Grand Mosque on al-Sarai Street. Its impact was limited to material damage.
