ARK News.. Israeli aircraft launched strikes on facilities and infrastructure at the Janta crossing on the Syrian-Lebanese border, reportedly used to transfer military equipment to Hezbollah.

In a statement, the Israeli military declared that "Hezbollah has exploited civilian infrastructure to carry out terrorist activities and transport weapons intended for attacks against Israeli citizens."

The statement further explained that "Unit 4400, responsible for arming Hezbollah and smuggling weapons from Iran and its proxies to Lebanon, is working to increase the arsenal of the Hezbollah terrorist organization."

It added that "since its establishment, the unit has set up numerous strategic routes to transfer these weapons along the Syria-Lebanon border."

The Israeli military emphasized that these strikes are part of efforts to disrupt the transfer of weapons from Syria to Lebanon and to impede Hezbollah's attempts to rebuild its smuggling routes.

The statement concluded by affirming that the Israeli military "will continue to take action to neutralize any threat to the State of Israel in accordance with the ceasefire agreements."
