Dr. Abdul Hakim Bashar: My Presence in Damascus is for Duties Related to Syria and the Legitimate Kurdish Cause
ARK New.. Dr. Abdul Hakim Bashar, Vice President of the Syrian National Coalition and a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, issued a statement clarifying his presence in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The statement reads as follows:
"Despite the fall of the former regime, the regime's electronic propagandists remain in denial, as do those aligned with other parties who appear to harbor animosity towards the Kurdish cause and any effort made for its advancement.
To these individuals, I have little to say except that my presence in Damascus is tied to specific duties concerning our homeland, Syria, and the legitimate cause of our Kurdish people. I am close to completing the tasks I set out to accomplish in coordination with the leadership of the Kurdish National Council and its representatives in Damascus, who have been involved in all the meetings with me."
