About 1,500 displaced Kurdish families return to their homes in Afrin
ARK News. The Afrin Organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria has announced the return of about 1,500 displaced Kurdish families to their homes in Afrin in the past few days.
According to the organization, the returns took place between 2 and 5 December, with families returning from the Shahba region to their towns and villages in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan.
The distribution of the returning families was as follows
December 2, 2024: Approximately 200 families.
December 3, 2024: About 500 families.
December 4, 2024: About 500 families.
December 5, 2024: About 300 families.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria covered the transportation costs for displaced and migrant families returning to Afrin.
