Kurdistan Parliament announces agenda for its first session of the sixth term
ARK News.. The Kurdistan Parliament has announced the agenda for its first session of the sixth parliamentary term, scheduled to take place on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The session will commence with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs. As stipulated in Articles 11(2) and 12(12) of the Parliament's Rules of Procedure, the oldest elected member will preside over the initial session.
During the session, the chairperson will summon the elected members of the sixth term to take their constitutional oath, in accordance with Article 12 of the Rules of Procedure.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Kurdistan Parliament as it convenes to address the priorities and challenges of the coming term.
