A young man loses his life under torture in the prisons of the Syrian regime

ARK News.. Sources reported that a young man from the countryside of Daraa was killed under torture in one of the prisons of the regime forces, after several years of his arrest for unknown reasons.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that a young man from the town of Nafi’a in western countryside of Daraa lost his life under torture in one of the prisons of the Syrian regime, after several years of his arbitrary arrest.

The Observatory confirmed that detainees and those forcibly disappeared inside the prisons of the regime forces are exposed to various types of psychological and physical torture and the most horrific types of violations are committed against them in light of the absence of the role of the concerned authorities to follow up on the affairs of the detainees, in addition to neglecting health care and malnutrition, which increases the aggravation of their suffering.

According to the Syrian Observatory source, the number of people who lost their lives under torture in the prisons of the Syrian regime since the beginning of this year has risen to 50 people.
