President Barzani affirms his support for the rights of the Feyli Kurds

President Masoud Barzani received, on Sunday, November 3, 2024, a number of figures and representatives of Feyli Kurds associations and organizations.

During the meeting, the guest delegation provided a brief overview of their problems, the issue of depriving a large number of Feyli Kurds of their rights and identities, the consequences of their torture and displacement, and the chauvinistic policy implemented by the former Iraqi regime against the Feyli Kurds, some of which continue to this day.

The delegation also extended its sincere thanks to President Barzani for his constant defense of the rights of the Feyli Kurds in the face of the problems and challenges they have been facing, and he was always a defender of the restoration of their rights.

During the meeting, President Barzani welcomed the personalities and representatives of the Feyli Kurds' organizations and associations, and expressed his appreciation for their positions, considering that the Feyli Kurds are a symbol of sacrifice and patriotism, and a clear example of the oppression and injustice committed against the Kurdish people.

The President added that the Feyli Kurds suffered from persecution and displacement because of their national identity, and President Barzani reiterated that he will do everything in his power to support the full rights and demands of the Feyli Kurds.
