Qamishlo: A Kurdish woman and her daughter martyred in Lebanon
ARK News.. A Kurdish woman and her daughter were killed as a result of escalating Israeli attacks on Lebanon, while a second daughter remains in critical condition.
The woman, Gulnaz Al-Sayed, and her daughter Nor lost their lives on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in an Israeli airstrike on the Lebanese city of Baalbek.
According to local sources, the health condition of the second daughter is extremely critical, and she is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Lebanon.
Gulnaz Al-Sayed and her two daughters are originally from the Qadur Bag neighborhood in Qamishlo city in Syrian Kurdistan.
On Saturday, the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Baalbek city in eastern Lebanon rose to 57, according to the official Lebanese news agency.
On Friday evening, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported that 52 people were killed and 72 injured in airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on Baalbek city and 13 nearby towns in the Baalbek city.
