Syrian Democratic Forces suspend distribution of heating fuel

ARK News.. A Syrian media source revealed that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) ordered the suspension of the distribution of heating fuel four days after the Turkish military operation in Syrian Kurdistan.

The Syria TV website said that fuel stations in the city of Hasaka received a circular to suspend the distribution of heating fuel four days after a large-scale airstrike by Turkish aircraft targeting military sites belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces in Syrian Kurdistan and areas under their control.

According to the source, the circular issued by the Fuel Directorate of the Syrian Democratic Forces obligated all stations to stop the distribution of heating fuel to residents of towns, cities and the countryside of Hasaka.

According to the source, the circular did not clarify the reason for the decision, but it indicated that the distribution of fuel would not resume until a new circular was issued.
