Afrin.. Armed factions burden citizens with royalties
ARK News.. In continuation of the violations against the Kurds in the villages and districts of the city of Afrin by the armed factions, the Hamzat faction militants demanded that the residents of a village in the Rajo town bring a green title deed from the Syrian regime departments to prove their ownership of their properties.
A special source from the village of Shingele village of Rajo town said that the Hamzat militants stipulated that the Kurdish citizens bring a green title deed from Aleppo city, which is under the control of the Syrian regime, to prove their ownership of their lands that they inherited from their fathers and grandfathers.
The source confirmed that although many of the residents brought the green title deed, the militants did not recognize it and seized the properties of the Kurds from the olive groves, and the citizens whose properties were seized are:
1- Sharif Qanbar 100 olive trees.
2- Omar Hussein Bakr 120 olive trees.
3- Mohammed Aref 150 olive trees.
4- Zakaria Khalil Miqdad 100 olive trees.
5- Hassan Mannan Jassim 125 olive trees.
The source added that approximately 3000 olive trees were seized in the village of (Kawanda) in Ba’ife mountain.
The source revealed that the Hamza militants imposed 20 bags of olives on every 100 bags of olives.
