Masrour Barzani: "We won"

After announcing the preliminary results of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party receiving the highest number of votes, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government confirmed that the Kurdistan Democratic Party PDK won by the God will and the support of the people.
Masrour Barzani, Deputy Chairman of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, said in a post on the (X) platform: "They could not... By the God will and the support and trust of the people, we won."
The Independent High Electoral Commission in Iraq announced in Baghdad on Monday, October 21, 2024, the preliminary results "not subject to appeal" for the Kurdistan Parliament elections that were held on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party received the highest number of votes in the parliamentary elections, reaching "345,822" votes in Erbil, "57,832" votes in Sulaymaniya, "4,940" in Halabja, and "400,603" votes in Duhok.
