
Afrin.. Faylaq Al-Sham gunmen steal the crop of more than 200 olive trees belonging to a Kurdish citizen
ARK News.. Sources from Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan reported that a Kurdish citizen's olive crop was stolen coinciding with the official start of the harvest season.
A special source from Afrin city said today, Monday, October 14, 2024, that Faylaq Al-Sham gunmen led by Abu Salil Al-Khalidi, and the economic official of the village of Midan Akbas of Rajo town in Afrin city, stole the crop of (225) olive trees belonging to the Kurdish citizen Salah Hajj Muhammad Dawoud.
According to the source, after stealing the crop, gunmen took it to the Dandash olive press to press the olives and convert them into oil.
This is not the first time that unknown persons have stolen the crop of olive trees owned by the Kurds before the official start of the harvest season.
