Erbil: Over 5,500 Students Graduate from Salahaddin University for the 2023-2024 Academic Year
ARK News.. On October 10, 2024, it was announced that the capital city of Erbil hosted the 43rd graduation ceremony of Salahaddin University, on Friday, at the Franso Hariri Stadium in the heart of the Kurdistan Region's capital.
Saman Abdullah, head of the media department at Salahaddin University, stated, "The 43rd graduation ceremony held at Franso Hariri Stadium, where 5,553 students received their degrees."
Salahaddin University, the oldest and largest university in the Kurdistan Region, was founded in the city of Sulaymaniyah in 1968 and later relocated to Erbil in 1981. The university comprises 16 different colleges and 86 departments across a variety of disciplines.
Each year, thousands of students graduate from the university with degrees in bachelor's, higher diploma, master's, and doctoral programs across various fields.
