The regime renews its breaches to the Russian – Turkish truce through ground targeting within the demilitarized zone

ARK News: The regime forces are continuing to evade their commitments to their ally, Russia, which is the guarantor of the Russian – Turkish truce, which has been applied since the 15th of August 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed targeting by the regime forces, to areas in the vicinity of Al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, within the demilitarized zone, in conjunction with their shelling on places in the areas of Tardin village, and the outskirts of Jabal Al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning, that violations are still targeting the areas of the Russian – Turkish truce in Hama, Idlib, Aleppo and Lattakia provinces, despite all the Russian and Turkish guarantors’ attempts to decrease them, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored targeting by the regime forces after the midnight of Saturday – Sunday, to areas in the villages of M’aarkaba, Al-Zakah and Al-Sakhr and the southern and eastern outskirts of Al-Lataminah town as well as the vicinity of Morik town in the northern countryside of Hama, within the demilitarized zone, also places in Al-Ziyarah area in Sahl Al-Ghab in the northwestern countryside of Hama, without information about the fall of injuries, while the areas of Tell Khazna and the Abandoned Battalion in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, were targeted by the regime forces using their heavy machine guns, which caused material damage.

The Syrian Observatory published on Sunday, the 8th of December 2018, that it monitored renewed violations to the areas of the Turkish – Russian truce, within the 4 provinces, which has been put in effect on the 15th of August 2018, where the regime forces targeted areas in Sukayk village in the southern countryside as well as areas in the vicinity of Al-Lataminah and places in Murak area in the northern countryside of Hama, also, the factions operating within “Wa Harid Al-Mo’mineen” Operation Room, targeted positions of the regime forces in Al-Hakurah front in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-west of Hama, and Ma’an front in the northeastern countryside of Hama, amid preliminary information about the death of 2 members of the regime forces, the regime forces also targeted places in Zayzun area in Sahl Al-Ghab, and the artillery shelling was accompanied by the overflight of a reconnaissance plane over the countryside of Idlib province.
