Hasaka.. SDF kidnap a minor

ARK News.. Hasaka witnessed the kidnapping of a child from the displaced people of the city of Sari Kaniye city by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and he was taken to recruitment camps.

RASD Syria for Human Rights Network said that it documented on September 15, 2024, the kidnapping of the child Muhammad Imad Salim, 14 years old, by militants of the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF in the Al-Tala’i Camp in Hasaka Governorate.

According to the Network, the minor Muhammad Imad Salim was kidnapped on September 9, 2024, and was taken to recruitment camps.

The kidnapped child is from the displaced people of Sari Kaniye city, and lives with his family in Al-Tala’i camp in Hasaka Governorate. His father suffers from chronic diseases and is old, and his mother is deceased.

Despite the signing of an action plan by Mazloum Kobani, the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, with Virginia Gamba, the United Nations Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, to end and prevent the recruitment of children under the age of 18 and their use in military operations, the involvement of minors in battles and their recruitment continues.
