10th anniversary of the martyrdom of five Roj Peshmerga forces
ARK News.. Today, Monday, September 16, 2024, marks the 10th anniversary of the martyrdom of five Roj Peshmerga forces in battles against the terrorist organization ISIS in the Kurdistan Region.
Five Peshmerga officers and fighters from Roj Peshmerga were martyred against ISIS terrorists in the area of (Hasan Sham) "Sevdinan village" on 16/9/2014.
The five martyrs are:
The martyr: Major Bashir Ahmed Yousef Hok from Turkish Kurdistan
The martyr: First Lieutenant Jomard Fazi Misho from Derik - Syrian Kurdistan
The martyr: Mustafa Jirjis Saeed from the Kurdistan Region
The martyr: Dalil Ahmed Ali Muhammad from Terbespiye - Qamishlo, Syrian Kurdistan
The martyr: Suleiman Hamza Haji from Terbespiye - Qamishlo, Syrian Kurdistan
The border areas in the Kurdistan Region witnessed a fierce war in 2014 between the Peshmerga forces and ISIS terrorists, in which many ISIS militants were killed and a number of Peshmerga forces were martyred, including Roj Peshmerga.
