ARK News.. Members of an armed group affiliated with the National Army arrested two Kurdish brothers in the Bilbile town of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan, after their return several days ago from Lebanon.

Rasd Syria Network for Human Rights said that members of an armed group affiliated with the National Army, on Friday, September 6, 2024, arrested two Kurdish brothers "Hannan Hussein Hannan", 51 years old, and "Idris Hussein Hannan", 39 years old, from Bilbile town of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.

According to the source, the two brothers, who were arrested days after their return from Lebanon, were taken to an unknown destination and their fate remains unknown until now.

In the same context, members of the Military Police, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, arrested three Kurdish citizens from the village of Deir Ballut of Jinderes town in Afrin region, namely:
1- Ahmed Muhammad Nour Habash, 47 years old.

2- Mustafa Taher Abdo, 45 years old.

3- Omar Ahmed Hanan, 25 years old.

According to the private source, the detainees were taken to an unknown destination, noting that these people were arrested more than 4 times, and were released in exchange for a ransom, and each time they were arrested, the charge was dealing with the PYD administration, when it controlled Afrin.

It is noteworthy that Afrin city and its seven towns are currently under the control of the Turkish forces and the National Army of the Syrian opposition since it emerged from the control of the “the PYD Administration”, on March 18, 2018, citizens of Afrin region face all kinds of harassment, and arrests, etc...
