ARK News.. Despite the difficult conditions, ongoing violations, and heavy taxes imposed on returnees, the campaign to return refugee and displaced families to their hometown in the villages and towns of Afrin city continue, as two displaced Kurdish families in Aleppo returned to hometown in Afrin region.

A special source told ARK News that two displaced Kurdish families in Aleppo city, on Friday, September 6, 2024, returned to their hometown in centre of Mabata town and Qastal Miqdad village of Bilbile town of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.

Another source told ARK News that a displaced Kurdish family in the city of Aleppo, on Friday, September 6, 2024, returned to hometown in Belle village in Bilbile town in Afrin city.

Sources in Afrin city confirmed that despite the difficult conditions, ongoing violations, and heavy taxes and royalties imposed on returnees, the campaign to return refugee and displaced families to their hometown in the villages and towns of Afrin city continue

Since the beginning of 2024, more than about 250 families of refugees and displaced have returned to their hometown in the villages and towns of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.
