ARK News.. After a month of detention, the Military Police released citizen Rebar Fawzi Ahmed in Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.

A source close to the family said that the Military Police released Rebar Fawzi, on Friday, September 6, 2024, after more than a month in detention, and the reason for the arrest is not yet clear.

The Military Police had arrested (Rebar Fawzi), his wife "Suzan Na’san" and his two daughters, at the (Qitme) crossing in the Shara town in Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan, on August 5, 2024, after they returned from the Kurdistan Region to their hometown in Afrin city several days ago, and after a week the family (wife and two daughters) were released.

The Kurdish Citizen Rebar Fawzi Ahmed is a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria PDK-S and from the village of Husse in the Mabata town in Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.
