Suwayda Protesters: History will remember that we came out for freedom

ARK News.. With the participation of residents of most areas of Suwayda Governorate, the demonstrators renewed their demands to overthrow the regime and implement international resolution 2254.

Al-Karama Square, on Friday, August 9, 2024 witnessed a new central demonstration, in which protesters from most areas of Suwayda Governorate and its villages participated, in a clear insistence on their demands to overthrow the regime and implement international resolution 2254.

According to the Suwayda24 Network, the protesters raised banners expressing their demands and ideas, and in their hands were roses and olive branches, (We start with peace and end with peace and strength is with peace), and (The most terrifying thing about blindness is to be the only one who sees), (History will remember.. that we came out for freedom.. and a group stood in our way and said: Respect our right to slavery).

Since August 2023, the people of Suwayda Governorate have continued their popular uprising through daily demonstrations demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime, the withdrawal of Iran from the country as an occupier, and the implementation of UN Resolution 2254, which guarantees a peaceful transfer of power through democratic elections under the supervision of the United Nations.
