A delegation from the Syrian opposition meets with the Turkish Foreign Minister
ARK News.. The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with a delegation from the Syrian opposition, and the meeting discussed the latest developments in the Syrian issue, and views were exchanged on the current developments related to the Syrian conflict.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry, on Thursday, August 8, 2024, said in a post on the (X) website: "Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with the head of the Syrian National Coalition Hadi Bahra, the head of the Syrian Negotiations Commission Badr Jamous, and the head of the Syrian Interim Government Abdul Rahman Mustafa."
The Turkish Foreign Ministry added that the meeting discussed the latest developments in the Syrian issue, and views were exchanged on the current developments related to the Syrian conflict.
The ministry stressed Turkey's support for serious and realistic dialogue and negotiation efforts that will pave the way for a comprehensive political solution in Syria based on UN Security Council Resolution No. 2254.
