
Azaz.. More than 20 killed and wounded in a car bomb explosion
ARK News.. The Syrian Civil Defense, on Wednesday, August 7, reported that more than 20 people were killed and wounded in an explosion of a car bomb in the city of Azaz city, north of Aleppo.
The Syrian Civil Defense said on its Facebook page that more than 20 people were killed and wounded in the city of Azaz city, north of Aleppo, in the explosion of a car bomb that killed and wounded.
The Syrian Civil Defense continued that a truck bomb (refrigerated goods) exploded at the western entrance to the city of Azaz city, killing 9 people, including charred bodies, and wounding 12 others, including critical cases.
It noted that a missile attack was launched from areas under the joint control of the Syrian regime forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces at the site of the truck bomb explosion and its surroundings, without causing any casualties.
For its part, the Syrian National Coalition for Revolutionary and Opposition Forces condemned the bombing and stressed the "necessity of establishing security in the region by eliminating the threat of terrorist militias targeting stability."
The Syrian National Coalition stressed the "need to intensify security efforts to protect civilians and reach those involved in this terrorist act to impose the most severe penalties on them."
The coalition expressed its solidarity with the families of the victims.
