ARK News.. The Syrian Civil Defense Organization confirmed that the Syrian regime continues using of suicide drones as a weapon against civilians threatens the lives of thousands in vast areas in northwestern Syria.

The Syrian Civil Defense Organization "White Helmets" said that the Syrian regime's drone attacks since the beginning of this year (2024) portend new waves of displacement, undermine the lives and movements of civilians, and prevent farmers from their agricultural activities in northwestern Syria.

According to the source, the Syrian regime carried out an attack on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, with 11 suicide drones on civilian homes and cars in various areas of the Idlib and Aleppo country sides.

The source added that the regime also targeted the Jabal al-Zawiya area with 6 suicide drones "the towns and villages of Shanan and Farkia and the outskirts of Deir Sunbul, south of Idlib", which caused damage to civilian property.

The source confirmed that during the first half of 2024, his teams responded to 392 attacks by regime forces, Russia and loyalist militias on northwestern Syria, which led to the killing of 38 civilians, including 13 children and 6 women, and the wounding of 150 others, including 57 children and 16 women.
