According to the “Business 2 Business” website, a cardiologist’s examination costs 200,000 Syrian pounds, a gynaecologist’s examination costs 60,000 Syrian pounds, a newly graduated pediatrician costs 45,000 Syrian pounds, and the cost of an x-ray exceeds 1.2 million Syrian pounds.

According to the source, none of the doctors adhere to the prices set by the Union, citing the high costs of living and clinic fees.

The source confirmed that the infection of random price increases has spread to pharmacists, who raise prices without supervision, noting that in the past there was a unified price bulletin that all pharmacists adhered to, but today each pharmacist sets his prices differently.
