Ayman Al-Safadi: The return of Syrian refugees is a priority for Jordan
ARK News.. Jordan stressed that the return of Syrian refugees to their country is a priority, and conditions must be created for a safe return.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said, during a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdel al-Ati, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, that “everyone is working to end the Syrian crisis, preserve Syria, its land, security and stability, and the safe return of refugees to their country.”
The Jordanian minister added that the issue of refugees’ return to their country is a necessary issue for Jordan, and we want to create the conditions that allow this safe return.
Ayman Al-Safadi warned of a decline in support for countries that are hosting Syrian refugees.
Prince Hussein, son of King Abdulla II and Crown Prince of Jordan, said earlier that "the solution of the Syrian refugee issue is their return to their homeland, and I am sure they wish to return, and if the international community does not assume its responsibilities towards the refugees, Jordan will not be able to provide them with a decent life."
