Afrin... Fires consume hundreds of olive and forests trees in the Mabata town
ARK News… Fires destroyed hundreds of olive and forest trees in the mountains of two villages in the Mabata town of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.
Local sources from Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, said that fires broke out in agricultural lands and the forests of the villages of Husse and Brimja in the Mabata town of Afrin city.
According to local sources, the fires were brought under control, on Monday, after they devoured hundreds of forest trees and about 400 olive trees in the two villages.
On Sunday, 2/6/2024, fires broke out in the forests of Mount Billel in the Rajo town of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.
Mount “Zênê”, opposite of the Mount of Billel, was subjected to arson at the end of last May, and material damage was recorded to Kurdish property in the area.
