Afrin… After seven years of displacement, an elderly Kurdish woman returns to her hometown
ARK News… The campaign to return refugee and displaced families to their hometowns continues in the villages and towns of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan, as a displaced elderly Kurdish woman in Aleppo returned to their hometown in Afrin.
A private source told ARK News website that the elderly Kurdish woman, Zallokh Abdul Rahman, 85 years old, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, returned to her hometown in the village of “Mele Xelîla” in the Jinderes town of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan, after seven years of displacement in Aleppo city.
Since the beginning of the year 2024, about 200 refugee families have returned to their hometowns in the villages and towns of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.
