ARK News… As a result of a dispute over Kurdish-owned shops, violent clashes broke out between an armed faction and a number of displaced people from Hayyan city in the Aleppo countryside in Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.

A private source told ARK News that violent clashes broke out, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, in Afrin city Centre in Syrian Kurdistan, between gunmen of the Ahrar Al-Sham Movement and displaced people from the town of Hayyan in the countryside of Aleppo. Three people died as a result of the clashes and were taken to the hospital.

According to the private source, the clashes broke out as a result of a dispute over shops owned by the Kurds, and the Ahrar Al-Sham Movement took control of them economically.

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the village of Midan Akbas in the Rajo town of Afrin, clashes broke out between gunmen of the Faylaq Al-Sham, due to a dispute between them over the right to seize Kurdish property.

On the night of Monday, June 3, 2024, violent clashes with machine guns and heavy weapons broke out in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, between the factions of the “Joint Force” and the “Liberation and Construction Movement” of the Free National Army, and extended to the Al-Hammam border crossing in the Jinderes town, as a result of a dispute over a piece of land belonging to a diaspora Kurdish citizen.
