An explosion rocks Damascus, and the Syrian regime hides the identity of the targeted officer
ARK News…. The Syrian capital witnessed an explosion in the Mazze neighbourhood, which led to the death of an officer in the Syrian regime forces, and the burning of three cars that were close to the site of the explosion.
Syrian media sources said that the Syrian capital (Damascus) witnessed, on Saturday, 25/5/2024, an explosion targeting a “Lada 2007” car, which led to the death of an officer in the Syrian regime forces, Colonel Loay Zuhair al-Nayef, who works in the General Conscription Department in Damascus, and comes from the town of al-Busayra in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez-Zour.
According to Syrian media sources, the explosion also led to the burning of three cars parked nearby.
The Syrian regime did not officially announce the killing of Al-Nayef, as the Syrian regime's SANA agency contented itself with quoting a source in the Damascus Police Command saying that a person was killed "without identifying his identity" as a result of an explosive device exploding in his car in the Mazze area near Tal’at al-Iskan.
