The regime announces that Asma al-Assad has leukemia
ARK News… The presidency of the Syrian regime announced on Tuesday that Asma al-Assad, the wife of Bashar al-Assad, had been diagnosed with leukemia.
The presidency said in a statement, “Asma al-Assad was infected with this disease, after the appearance of clinical symptoms and signs, followed by a series of medical examinations and tests.”
The statement also added that Asma al-Assad "will undergo a specialized treatment protocol that requires isolation conditions while achieving appropriate social distancing. Therefore, she will stay away from direct work and participate in events and activities as part of the treatment plan."
The presidency of the Syrian regime had previously announced in 2018 that Asma al-Assad had breast cancer, which was detected in its early stages, and in 2019, Asma al-Assad announced that she had recovered from the disease.
